BIOGRAPHY

What started as a dream is now a reality....

Greek dancing has been part of Rallis Vatalidis life for as long as he can remember.

Fueled with hopes and dreams, in 1996, the Rallis School of Greek Dance was born. 27 years on and with the same ambition, commitment and drive, the Rallis School of Greek Dance continues to grow.

Australian born and bred Rallis has always and will always continue to feel proud of his Greek culture and heritage. With this in mind he believes that dancing strengthens these ties.

Rallis's love for dance and dedication coupled with his love for Greek traditions is continuing to change the face of Greek Dancing in Australia.  He believes it is vital for Greek Australians to retain their cultural heritage and that Greek dancing is the gateway to that: "Dancing keeps the fire burning within the hearts of our children".

Rallis's primary objective is to teach your children the VERY BEST dance skills that they require to enjoy the collective and unique styles of Greek dancing and to allow them to feel empowered with their success.

By invitation from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Greeks Abroad, Rallis regularly attends Traditional Dance Seminars in Greece. The knowledge and experience gained from these seminars has helped to enrich his school.

Over the years, Rallis has directed and produced many stage productions at venues such a Star City , NIDA Theatre and The Conservatorium of Music.

Rallis is currently is working very closely with the 1915 Lemnos commemorative team. The Rallis School of Greek Dance has been chosen to represent LEMNOS with traditional Lemnian dances and is an integral part of the 100 year of ANZAC – LEMNOS celebrations.
